A walk on the wild side…….

Trim Trail Walk!!

Yesterday we decided that we needed to get out from indoors and have a walk. Nothing strenuous just a gentle walk in the fresh air. With most of our preparations made for our prospective re-location some days mean that we are at a loose end, always waiting for that telephone call or important correspondence falling on the door mat!
Monday seemed to be a good day…………..
A check on the weather forecast confirmed that mid morning was the best time to avoid the wind and rain so I picked up my camera and walking shoes jumped in the car and headed off to Kingsbury Water Park.
An ideal venue for walks of any length on tarmac or woodland paths, the choice is yours. We arrived at 10 o’clock, parked the car, slipped on the shoes and coat and off we went.

We walked passed the miniature railway, which unfortunately wasn’t running, and followed the track that more or less followed the railway lines. Kingsbury is always upgrading its facilities and an addition from when we were last there is the introduction of the Trim Trail. Of course we had to try it…………!!!

I’m afraid we are passed our best and will sick to walking.
